George Nathan McCool homestead in Grant County, Arkansas

George Nathan McCool (1847 – 1927) was the son of Andrew McCool and Nancy Ashcraft. He was born in Fayette county Alabama, moved to Arkansas in the 1850s, and lived there the rest of his life. He was a half-brother of my great-great-great grandfather, George Washington “Wash” McCool. The reason he is the subject of this post is his house at the Grant County Museum, in Heritage Square. I have not been there but have been sent pictures and articles. Click on the above link for Grant County to learn more. Here is the picture of the home.
